You are a detective in charge of solving this series of murder: will you make the right choice and catch the killer? 

This game has multiple endings based on the choices made during the game.

Design Statement:

The game follows the player (a detective) as they arrive in a new city to help solve mysterious suicide cases.  The following game is a text-based visual novel, with mechanics that allow for multiple endings based on choices the player makes through each playthrough. This design choice was to focus on the player’s choices when interacting with the characters in the game and creating a sense of consequence and value to communication within the game. The themes in Small Arms Dealer revolve around the topic of law and morality, and if it is possible to do the right thing if you are breaking the law, in essence: how personal morality conflicts or agrees with the morality of collective society (as presented through laws). The decisions the player makes when interacting with characters can build up to cause a variety of possible options available later on within the game, as well as hints to support the player in solving the murder mystery, the main event of the game.
